  Q. What is quality "factory-refurbished" merchandise?  
  A. Factory-refurbished merchandise refers to products that have been returned to the manufacturer for any of a number of reasons.
  • Anytime a retail store or consumer opens a product in a box and it is not purchased, it cannot be sold as new. The item is then shipped back to the manufacturer to be "reconditioned."
  • An item purchased by a consumer and returned for any reason--perhaps the product didn’t work or the consumer simply didn’t want it--whether it's the very next day or a month later, is sent back to the manufacturer to be "reconditioned."
  • Some items, called "scratch and dents" have been returned to the manufacturer with visible wear and tear. JustDeals makes every effort to ensure that our "factory reconditioned" merchandise does not include "scratch and dents."

  Q. What does a manufacturer do to recondition products?  
  A. Once returned to the manufacturer, the entire item is completely checked to assure it meets ALL factory specifications, then is quality tested AGAIN! Each manufacturer has its own procedures; items that didn’t work are repaired, items that were returned after minimal use are cleaned and sanitized, items that were opened may be repackaged. All items are returned to like-new condition.

  Q. I’ve also seen the terms "refurbished" "recertified" or "factory serviced" in some item descriptions. What’s the difference?  
  A. Various manufacturers use these slightly different terms, but any item listed on our site as "refurbished" or "factory serviced" meets the same factory-refurbished standards listed above.

  A. Some merchandise may have been used for a very short period of time, some has not been used, but rest assured that all factory-refurbished products have gone through two, or even three, quality checks to ensure that they are as good as new.

  Q. Do factory-refurbished products come in different packaging?  
  A. By law, manufacturers are required to state on the packaging that an item has been factory refurbished. Packaging and terminology differs slightly with each manufacturer. Some items will arrive in a regular retail box with a sticker indicating that it has been reconditioned, refurbished, or factory serviced. Some items may be repackaged in a plain brown or white box. Enclosed manuals may refer to accessories (e.g., camera cases or straps) that are not included with the refurbished product.

  Q. What makes a factory-refurbished item such an excellent purchase?  
  A. Factory refurbished means high quality. In fact, factory-refurbished goods have a very low return rate (2%) because they have been checked at least twice for proper working condition and quality. The price you pay for a factory-refurbished item is much lower than at retail.

  Q. How do I identify a factory-refurbished item on your site?  
  A. We note these products on our site with words "Factory-Refurbished", "Factory-Reconditioned" or "Factory-Recertified". You will see these words on the the bottom of product description whenever a factory-refurbished product is displayed. When you see the "Factory-Refurbished" words, you know you're in for a great deal on a fantastic product!

  Q. What is OEM products?  
  A. OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. It signifies that the particular version of that product does not come with a retail box. Installation instructions are typically loaded on a disk or CD rather than in a printed manual, although, depending on the manufacturer, you may receive a printed manual as well. OEM software products are generally required to be sold or bundled with hardware - Hard Drives, CPUs, etc. OEM does NOT mean an item is recycled or refurbished. We encourage you to contact the product manufacturer if you have any further questions or concerns regarding OEM products.

  Q. How do I pay for an item I have purchased from JustDeals?  
  A. Upon the close of an auction you will be notified by eBay via e-mail that you are the winning bidder. There is no need to contact JustDeals to arrange payment. We will automatically send you an e-mail within three hours of auction close. (Sometimes, you'll receive our e-mail before eBay's!) Our message will contain a link to our simple and secure checkout process where you will be able to quickly and conveniently pay for your purchase with your credit card.

  Q. How long do I have to pay for an item?  
  A. You will have seven days from the close of the auction to pay for your item. You can expect your "Invitation to Checkout" e-mail within 3 hours of the auction close. Sorry, but after seven days, we will have to resell your item to the next interested buyer, so please check your e-mail as soon as you can after the auction close.

  A. JustDeals accepts United States bank issued Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards.  PayPal and Money Order is also accepted at our secure checkout site.

  A. Yes. After the completion of our convenient checkout process, you can print the order confirmation screen that will contain all pertinent credit card charge information. JustDeals also sends this same information to you automatically, via e-mail.

  A. Our checkout system has been thoroughly tested to charge the exact amount stated during the checkout process.   A. Your credit card is charged immediately upon completion of the checkout process. Sophisticated systems are set up to immediately send your order to our shipping department, to be shipped out by the end of the following business day.

  A. Your billing address is the same address information on file with your credit card company. When entering this information during the checkout process it is important that you enter this information exactly as it appears on your credit card statement.   A. Currently we are unable to accommodate this request. We have multiple processing facilities and items may be shipped from different locations. Unfortunately, this means that we must ship items individually.

  A. State laws require that internet retailers collect sales tax in states where they are resident. JustDeals is currently resident in the state of California. Subsequently we are required to charge applicable taxes in California.
